Chevron Quilted Coat

I bought two of these Chevron coats and really like them, good weight and nice styling. I wouldn't call them winter coats; I live in Vermont (a Boston transplant) and have a Marmot 700 down fill weight that handles sub-zero and single digit temperature, pay attention to Anorak styling of this model, no hood, mid-thigh length gives a trim look but not a super-warm style as it doesn't cover legs below thighs. BUT I love these Anoraks, they are water resistant and great to throw on for most outdoor activity and for the price point, I think they are good value.I had to go up a size for room to layer even a little; I am 5'4" 138 lbs normally a medium, bought medium and had to return for a large so I could layer underneath the coat, I think another reviewer said more shoulder room was needed and this was true for me. I could have kept the medium if I didn't care about layering it looked great on me but so does the large! I would buy one size up BUT if you need to return or exchange Anorak does charge for return shipping. Love the saffron color!
